Horses are a great source of relaxing, fun exercise!
Leadline Lessons: Explicitly geared to our youngest riders and those in need of confidence-building, our leadline lessons aim to spend an equal amount of time on the ground and in the saddle on lead, introducing your child to horse safety and skills from the ground up. $25 per half hour, private only.
Half Hour Private: $30 per half hour, or $25 each when prepurchased as a package of four.

All fees for lessons must be paid prior to commencement of your lesson or package of lessons.
All riders looking to enroll in semi-private or group lessons must first take a private lesson, so we may evaluate your level of ability in order to select an appropriate pairing or group for you.
All riders under 18 years old must wear an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet, and riders of all ages are advised to do so. We have a limited number of helmets available for use by new students for your first few lessons, and are happy to assist you in finding a reasonably-priced helmet of your own once you decide you wish to continue riding.
We expect you to provide the courtesy of at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel your lesson, so we may make every effort to rebook your time slot. So long as you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule your lesson at a mutually-agreeable time within the next fourteen days. Lessons canceled less than 24 hours in advance, or make-up lessons not scheduled within fourteen days, will be forefeited. We have reserved your time slot for your use, and feel it is only fair to us to allow us the opportunity to fill your time slot if you need to cancel.
Lessons canceled by Grand View Horse Services will be made up at a mutually-agreeable time, will be applied as credit to future lesson packages if a make-up time is unable to be found.
Our lessons begin promptly at their scheduled time. Riders arriving late will be welcome to complete the time slot they were assigned, but will not be allowed to run over into another time slot to make up their missed time. At the discretion of the instructor, riders arriving early may begin their lesson prior to their scheduled start time. If an early start time is allowed, the student should expect the lesson to conclude after the duration of the scheduled lesson has passed, not at the originally scheduled end time.
Parental observation is fine for the first few lessons, as we recognize that your child may be nervous and want their parents nearby. After your child has grown more comfortable in his or her lessons, we encourage you to allow them to grow in independence and confidence by giving them some "private time" with their instructor during their lesson.
Supervision of children at Grand View Horse Services is the responsibility of the parent. The instructor will supervise your child only during a scheduled lesson when dropped off for their lesson, we ask that you please pick them up promptly at the end of their scheduled lesson time. Siblings should be supervised at all times and not disturb the riding lesson or the horses.
